The nursery is open from 7.30am – 6pm Monday-Friday. The nursery operates several sessions between the hours of 7.30am – 6pm. Please contact either Kay or Natasha for up to date fee prices and session options.

Nursery fees and booking procedure

When you have made the decision about booking your child a place at sunny meadows nursery we ask that you complete the nursery admissions pack and returns to us.  Once we have received your child’s admissions form we will ask for a £25.00 deposit to secure your child’s place.

Fees

Fees are payable on the 1st of each month either by standing order, debit card, childcare vouchers or from the government tax free childcare scheme.  Fees are paid in advance on a monthly basis. Parents/carers are charged for 48 weeks a year divided over 12 monthly payments. The nursery is open 52 weeks per year, there are 4 weeks non-chargeable that covers all bank holidays, holidays and sickness children may take. No days are refundable such as bank holidays, snow days etc

The fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes. The nursery does not provide formula milk; parents must bring sufficient quantities of formula for their child. Fresh drinking water and cow’s milk is always available throughout the day.

Childcare tax credit

If you are a working parent you could be entitled to money from the government to help you pay for childcare. To find out how much you are entitled to call the Inland Revenue tax credits helpline on 0345 300 3900 or their website: http://hmrc.gov.uk/
You will require the nursery registration number for your claim of tax credits please contact the manager for details.

Nursery Education Grants

All children aged three and four are entitled to free part-time funded childcare sessions varying from 15 – 30 hours. Early Years funded sessions through Nursery Education Grants are automatically applied for by the nursery on your behalf which will mean a reduction in your monthly invoice. This is available in school term time only following your child’s 3rd birthday. Nursery Education Grants are also available for 2-year olds, subject to criteria. Please ask the nursery management team for details.

Tax-Free Childcare

You can get up to £500 every 3 months (£2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. If you get Tax-Free Childcare, the government will pay £2 for every £8 you pay your childcare provider via an online account. You can use it to pay for approved childcare. You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
